Sailor Mercury Best Cartoon

Sailor Mercury

Sailor Mercury (Sērā Mākyurī?) is one of the central characters in the Sailor Moon metaseries. Her real name is Ami Mizuno ( Mizuno Ami?, or Amy Anderson in the English versions), a genius schoolgirl who can transform into one of the series' specialized heroines, the Sailor Senshi.
Sailor Mercury is the first member of the Sailor Team to be discovered by Sailor Moon, and serves as the "brains" of the group. Her powers are associated with phases of water, and she can use her supercomputer to quickly analyze a foe in battle.Aside from the main body of the Sailor Moon series, Ami features in her own short story in the manga, called "Ami's First Love." Originally published in Volume 14 of the manga, this was the only one of three "Exam Battle" stories to be made into a "Special" for the anime series. In addition, a number of image songs featuring Ami's character have been released, including the contents of three different 3-inch CD singles.

Tuxedo Mask

Tuxedo Mask
Tuxedo Mask (Takishīdo Kamen?) is a fictional character and the primary male protagonist of the Sailor Moon metaseries. Really named Mamoru Chiba (Chiba Mamoru?, Darien Shields in the English-language versions), he disguises himself in order to support the series' central heroines, the Sailor Senshi. Wearing a mask to conceal his identity, he interferes with enemy operations, offers the Senshi advice, and sometimes physically aids them in battle.
Although not himself a Senshi, Tuxedo Mask possesses a power item like theirs, a Sailor Crystal, which gives him guardianship over the planet Earth. He also has psychic powers, including psychometry and healing, which evolve and become important to the storyline in the manga, but which play only a minor role and remain static in the anime. His primary love interest is Sailor Moon and a significant player in much of the story, having been royalty in the "past life" storyline as well as in the future.
The Japanese version refers to him as "Tuxedo Kamen" while the dub refers to him as "Tuxedo Mask" when calling this character by his codename. Chibiusa and Usagi, in particular, also commonly refer to him with the nickname "Mamo-chan". The dub often shortens his name, "Darien" to "Dar" as a nickname, however this happens inconsistently.

PRINCESS AND THE FROG part two

EGYPT - Donald And the Wheel (1961)

This is actually one of several segments from a truly humungous master pan BG. Previously I posted the recreated Greek section.

I've been meaning to work on this EGYPT section for months. I finally got around to it! It wasn't easy. There is a chariot race is this scene. I could only build this slowly, one slice at a time. Near the end of the "pan," two horses (with two different Donalds!) actually criss-cross! Here's what I had to contend with:

I couldn't clear the entire image, but I was able to recreate most of the pan background, with Donald and his horse split. Don't even ask me why, it just worked out this way! I did a little clean-up painting in Photoshop, but 99% of this is original and un-retouched,

As usual I have split the sections so you can see more detail. Here's the left side Sphinx section.

Here's a close-up of the right side. I like the little cluster of palm trees in the middle.

I am far from expert at mediums, but it appears to be pastels. Expert opinions - please!

Felix the Cat Cartoon

Felix the Cat

Felix the Cat is a cartoon character created in the silent film era. His black body, white eyes, and giant grin, coupled with the surrealism of the situations in which his cartoons place him, combined to make Felix one of the most recognized cartoon characters alongside Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Tom and Jerry and Woody Woodpecker. Felix was the first character from animation to attain a level of popularity sufficient to draw movie audiences.Felix's origins remain disputed. Australian cartoonist/film entrepreneur Pat Sullivan, owner of the Felix character, claimed during his lifetime to be its creator as well. American animator Otto Messmer, Sullivan's lead animator, has more commonly been assigned credit in recent decades. Some historians argue that Messmer ghosted for Sullivan. What is certain is that Felix emerged from Sullivan's studio, and cartoons featuring the character enjoyed success and popularity in the 1920s.
